Pour Wine Bar & Bistro in Portland, Oregon, features wine paired with small, savory plates with local and seasonal ingredients. 

With everything from small, Northwest varietals to wines from California and Europe, Pour works to bring customers the best examples of each type of wine. Whether you want to enjoy a glass Oregon pinot in our funky modern setting with the perfect local cheese or take a bottle to go for a party, Pour aims to please.

Pour Wine Bar believes in featuring small production wines whenever possible. There’s nothing wrong with big productions, but we’re a small business, and we like to support other small businesses, too.

From your first date to your date night, or a large group or small, we think you’ll enjoy the wines we’ve picked paired with simple plates and local, seasonal food.

About the surrounding:   Pour Wine Bar is situated on the corner of NE 28th and Broadway in a mid-century style building with windows on two sides.  The chairs were designed by Eero Saarinen, designer of the St. Louis Arch and the TWA Lounge at JFK.  You can learn more about him and his other works at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eero_Saarinen. 

Pour Wine Bar worked with local designers at Compressed Pattern to complete the project in 2005.  Portlanders Travis Weedman and Arielle Glade worked with now New Yorker Thomas Kosbau to make the vision of Pour Wine Bar come to life with help from Pour’s own Robert Volz.

The string art in the alcove was designed by local artist Andi Kovel of Esque Design.
